I have a few resolutions that I want to try to accomplish this year.
1 is to move! I would love to find, either a two bedroom with at least one huge room, so I could end up sharing with Caius, OR, a 3 bedroom which would be more ideal for us in the long run.
And it has to allow pets too of course!
Another resolution is to write down what we do every day, no matter how boring for the year.
I'm 6 days behind, but I think I can try to catch up!

News Years Eve
I've decided to start with the last day of 2017, New years eve.
Most of the day I think was pretty boring for the most part.
I think I made chicken and rice for dinner. (My favorite)
Mom came over around 4:30 I think.
We were gunna head over to Lindsey's at about 7 for a game night.
We left the house about 6:45ish to stop at the store. I was gunna run in and get some more sparkling cider.
We got to Lindsey's and Darcie was already there. I had invited her. (I invited Lee too, but I don't think he wanted to go cause he never responded, until 2am)
We just kind of hung out and talked for a while. We ate some snacks. Lindsey put Charlie to bed probably around 8ish.
Lindsey's friend Hailey was there. She had her son Noah with her.
We played Apples to Apples (just us girls) Tyler and Kimber came around 8 or so. Kai got hungry to I left the table and went to Lindsey and Keith's room to feed him. Darcie played my cards along with her own.
No one told Keith that I was in their room, so he opened the door, looked up and said "Uh-Oh" and shut the door. Everyone at the table was laughing and then I started laughing, because he didn't freak out or anything, it was just a calm "uh oh". I heard mom said "Sorry Jess"
Hailey left around 9:30ish, while I was still feeding Kai. I don't remember who won the game, but we didn't play anymore games, which was weird. I kinda wanted to play Cards against humanity.
Tyler and Keith hang out outside for a while.
We took some family photos, but Shane wasn't there, unfortunately.
We were hanging out talking, Tyler was standing, and all of a sudden he freaked out. He spun around and said "Chucky!" I barely noticed that a child had run by, but when he said Chucky, I thought he was calling Charlie, Chucky.
It was so funny. It ended up being Elsie, who had run by so fast to go pee. Tyler had everyone laughing at that.
Me and Darcie poured everyone a cup of sparkling cider just before the count down. (Lindsey had done a count down around 10 for the kids)
Emery fell asleep about 10:30- 11, and Kai had finally gone to sleep about 10:30 (he woke up earlier after I had put him to sleep)
Lindsey got some pans and spoons out for the kids to bang on. We went outside and listened to fireworks, and even a neighbor across the street from where mom and Eddy used to live was banging on a pot.
I went in and woke up Kai, and got him ready to go.
We left Lindsey's about 10 minutes after midnight.
I made Ari go to bed shortly after we got home. I think I stayed up later.

We were trying to get Cash to give kisses to Kai. He put his hands on Kai's head and kissed him. This photo was taken after Kai was "man handled" LOL by his cousin, so he looks a little worried haha.
Emery fell asleep on his momma. And my Princess.
Kai was out... it was past his bedtime.
Life Update!
I don't think I've entered anything in here for a couple years.
A LOT has changed since last time.
We added a member to our family.... nooo not another pet! Ha!
We have a new baby! His name is Caius (Ky-us) Jacob. He's 3 months old already and so so precious to me! (I'll put his birth story in after I transfer it from my laptop)
We still live in our apartment unfortunately, but hey its a place to live.
Here is a photo of us:

I no longer work at Rite Aid. I stayed through almost my whole pregnancy. My last day there was September 11 (a Monday, which was my Friday there)

I had debated on staying until I had baby, but I really really wanted to be able to have Ari's birthday week off as well as go to the Oktoberfest without work getting in the way for once lol
I had him 2.5 weeks later.
For Ari's birthday, we had a party at home. It was supposed to be a small one. I guess it kinda was. We had it at the park. Then afterwards we took a few of Ari's friends to Get Air with us.

Novemver 2013-November 2013
I haven't blogged since we moved.
We had to move as the duplex we were living in was sold and the new owner wanted to renovate.
When he did his walk through of the place, I was excited as he named off all the things that he wanted to change. I was thinking, I'd be the tenant still, getting new counters, redone bathroom, etc...
I'd fenced in the yard for Ari and the dogs. I pulled out the ugly carpet in the kitchen and put in a nice vinyl floor. Ari's room was personalized to her liking, painted Indian Paintbrush orange.
November 6th I got a notice that our tenancy was being terminated as of January 8th 2014 at midnight.
I didn't worry about it for about an hour. I thought, "They can't do that. They won't do that. They were nice people. They have kids too. I'm on housing, they can't do that."
Boy was I wrong. 1. They could do that. 2 They would do that. 3. They don't care.
I've been bitter all year long about it. I was so happy there. I loved the area, the fact that I could treat this place as my own. We had it good. Ari had a swing set, trampoline, sand box a yard to play in. We had a garage. A fenced yard. Our dogs, our cats could be out whenever. We lived close to the park, the pool. Deer came to our yard. We saw skunks, raccoons, opossums. There was plenty of room. I had Thanksgiving and Christmas at my house.
I had 60 days to find a 2 bedroom place, preferably a duplex or house. (After moving out of our apartment I vowed never to move back to an apartment. I was moving forward) I wanted a yard, garage. Everything we had now but for the price of $550. Are you kidding me. Craigslist brought up NOTHING for me. Showing me Salem properties, or places over my rental allowance. Oh yeah, and Section 8 had to be allowed (As well as pets) Impossible. I wasted over a month thinking that $550 was my allowance for rent. I found out as I was walking home from dropping Ari off at school that I could actually be looking for a place that was $705.
That brought me so much relief. Mom kept telling me to move back into the apartment we'd moved from. NO WAY. That is not happening. I felt like crying at the thought of having to move back there.
I made a list, several times on what things we'd have to part with. Even going as far as trying to decide on finding a home for one of my dogs and 2 or 3 of my cats. It was heartwrenching.
I was having no luck. An as time kept on going by, the holidays coming and going I was running out of time. I put in an application for an apartment at Silverton Manor apartments. I wasn't going back there, but just in case.
I started searching for homes to buy. I thought, I could do it. Apply for a low income home loan. I was excited at that thought. I applied here and there. I was told, I don't make enough. I took it as, I don't work enough. I fell apart again. I started hating Julian, Ari's dad. He wasn't even there. Here I was needing to work my butt off for a low income, and miss out on so much, but still be told I'm not working enough.
I was told a down payment would help, so when taxes came in, I'd save 5 to $6,000 of that. And in 2015, I'd save another 5,000 to $6,000 and have somewhere around 12,000 for a down payment.
In December, an apartment came open. I'd take it, but keep looking while I still had time.
I found the number for the man who had bought our home and wanted to spill my guts on everything. I only explained how hard it was for me to find a place and with the holidays coming, I had no money to find a place to live, let alone buy my child some gifts. He text be back saying 'He couldn't allow us to stay the extra 2 months I asked for (until we had some money to move)
I was furious. I hated him. I'd hoped his family would have to go through the same thing. I hoped that when we came in to fix these duplexes that it'd cost him so much money and time, that he'd regret buying them at all.
I received a text message from our former landlord's wife, and she said we could have an extra few days (through the weekend) but that we had to be out by the 13th.
The 10th (a Friday) came and Housing had yet to do their inspection on my apartment. I was at work when I found a voicemail on my phone from Housing saying the inspection was done and it passed, but the apartment office was closed. I got the apartment manager's number from Dawn at work to call her. I apologized several times for calling her personal phone but I really needed the keys.
There were some things that still needed to be packed up, and I had to work.
Sunday came and I was at work. People were at my house loading up the U-Haul I'd rented. I still had no keys to my apartment.
I'd had to tell my brother and Kimber a day or two ago that we would need to stay at their house (it was offered back in November when we got the notice.) But at the time, I wasn't going to do that. I was going to have a place for my little family to live.
So many people were there helping. I can't ask for help. I hate having to ask for help. I wait until the very last minute to even ask, that's how much I hate it. I don't like inconveniencing people, or putting them out in the least bit. I ordered pizza and soda for my helpers. I felt horrible for not being able to pay them. I had my mom, aunt Sandy, Roy, Shane, Austin, (Ethan too I think). Ryan McGraw, Bill Cecrle, later Brynie came, along with Stephanie Tyler and Kimber, and Keith and Lindsey.
I lost my camera in the shuffle, so I couldn't take pictures of anything (Yes I wanted to) Everyone left and I still had stuff to do. The U-Haul (a big one) was completely stuffed full. I had my fish and gecko in mom's van. I had stuff in my truck, I had stuff in Stephanie's car. I had to still load up my plants. I wanted to rip out the fence I'd put in. Tyler helped me rip out the front half. I snipped each of the wire ties the held the fence to the T-posts. Anything to make it inconvenient for this person who had turned our life upside down. Today I sold my washer and dryer for $100 and gave away Ari's swingset.
I had no place to take our belongings. I had to leave the U-Haul parked. I went through the house one more time, making sure we had everything. Turned out the lights, turned off the gas. and wanted to just ball my eyes out as I walked through our empty home. I couldn't. A couple tears escaped, but I had Stephanie as my ride up to Tyler's house and I couldn't show any emotion like that.
Ari, me, the dogs and cats would stay at Tyler and Kimber's an because of the last minute need to stay in their spare room, they hadn't had enough time to clean it up, which caused them some frustration. (My dislike for asking for help caused me to wait last minute, causing more frustration on their end!) I would have left all of the garbages up at the house, filled to the brim, but they'd called to make sure we put them out by the curb for garbage day or we'd get a bill for a lot of money.
We unloaded, the plants, dog house, wishing well and my other outside stuff in Tyler and Kimber's front yard. A lot of the stuff that was in the garage (Holiday stuff that wasn't needed right now was put into their basement)
I still couldn't believe this was happening. How could this happen?
Standing on Ty's newly built back porch (still feeling nervous about it collapsing lol) Ty was out there with me talking to me, and telling me everything would be just fine. It didn't feel like it. I just couldn't hold it in anymore. My eyes flooded over. We were homeless. For a night.
I had to be to work at 8am the next morning. I didn't think I'd be able to sleep. Ari and I slept in the full size bed, the dogs on the side. Simba in a kennel, Sage and Kiara in another and Jade in another. I had to put her on the back porch cause she wouldn't stop meowing. I kept thinking, the faster I go to sleep the faster this day will be over. Tomorrow was Monday. I should get the keys.
Stephanie showed up at about 7:45 to give me a ride to work and drop Ari off at school.
Somewhere familiar made it easier. I think I got off work around 12ish. I can't remember. I just remember mom called me to find out where the key to the U-Haul was and I thought I'd left it at Ty's on the table, but it was with me. Mom had picked up the keys for me at the apartment that has been waiting for us since mid December. This was a "perfect" apartment for us, because we still had 2 dogs and 4 cats. The dogs were home free, but our cats would spend their day time in this room, and road free in the late afternoon and on weekends. I felt better today. I knew all my surrounding neighbors from when we lived here previously. Ari knew most of the kids and played while, me, mom, Shane and Austin helped unload the U-Haul. I still couldn't find my camera, and I wanted to show how COMPLETELY stuffed full the living room of this little apartment was. It was filled with boxes. I was going to start box by box, but each box I started with I didn't know what to do with the stuff. It took I think over a week to get everything unpacked.
I was so completely stiff and sore, that walking Ari to school the first morning was HARD. Thank goodness the bus came down this way.
It's now November 4th, 2014. This year has gone by pretty quick, as people said it would. But each time I think of how life was, and how it was turned upside down, I get so bitter. I did end up talking to the wife of the man who bought the duplex. In March, they were still working on fixing everything. When the guy came into the store I work at, and I checked him and his boys out, the bitterness came back when he asked how I was doing (he didn't remember me).
The last month or 2, I've felt so down about everything. About buying a home. Not able to do it alone. Not making enough, Bitter with my job, my life and inability to do anything alone pretty much. That $5,000+ I was supposed to have for a down payment as dwindled down to just under $1,000. I was going to apply for another loan, but didn't send in printed application figuring I'd just get another notice telling me I don't have proof of the ability to repay, or for the very low income loan, that I'm too low income.
I don't invite people over. It's small and cramped and it doesn't feel welcoming. I get embarrassed when people do come over.
So, when we move (we can move at the end of January) but I think we'll wait until Feb. Or March. Of course, keeping my eyes open for anything that will fit our needs and when I have the money to move again.
It will have to be a rental. Hopefully, a landlord who will let us treat the home as our own. Possible a private, rent till you own home. Maybe something we won't have to need housing on. A 2-3 bedroom home. Outside of town with a nice yard. A garage. A place where we can have a garden, a swing set, our trampoline (Which we did keep) A place for Ari to play outside, and the dogs can run. The cats can be outside, losing the weight they've put on. I can dream.

If you could offer only one piece of advice to a newborn, what would it be?
If I'm being funny, I'd tell the new baby that going potty on the toilet is much more comfortable then going in a diaper.
Day 3
What was the last movie you saw in the theater?
The last movie I saw was with Ari, and it was The Creeds. A great movie!
Day 4
If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it bed?
I want to say, "Hmmm, that's a tough one." But it's not.
I would rid the world of hungry.
(and since this is my blog) I'll add diseases, alcohol and other drugs, fleas, ticks and mosquitos! lol
Day 5
Post a picture of someone who made your day special
(I'll add one later!)
Day 6
If you could spend 15 minutes with a celebrity, who would it be and why?
That's easy! Ha! Chaske Spencer.
And I pick him because he's awesome!
Day 7
If you could live in any time period of the past what would it be and why.
That's a tough one. I'm happier now then I have been in a long time.
I'd like to be pregnant again. So I could do that, but this time I'd tell the doctor that I have a yeast infection! I'd also not be embarrassed, I'd like to have all the friends I have now, back then.
If I could be 24 again, and live the way I am now, I'd be really happy too.
Day 8
How do you invistion your life being in 5 years.
Hmmm,
I'll be married with another kid. Owning a home here in Silverton Or. I don't work anymore. We are living comfortbly on the lottery winnings I won, we travel, to different places. We own a home in Idaho (close to his family)
Day 9
What's your food philosphy?
If its good, I eat it.
haha.
Day 10
Write about someone who inspires you.
This could be long, but I'll just type in the name.
Chaske Spencer.
Day 11
Write about the worst injury you've ever had.
Hmmm. It's a tie between getting a sprained ankle (apparently worse then a broken one) and a sprained hand.
Both were done on a trampoline. I don't remember which one was first, but they were in the same summer (1999).
The ankle was from jumping off the trampoline several times. It didn't affect me until the next day. I couldn't walk on my right foot. In the middle of the night one night I had to use the bathroom, and had to crawl to the bathroom. Tyler was sleeping in the living room, and got so scared. He thought I was a bear.
The wrist happened when we were playing crack the egg. I was sitting in the center. My hands flew up, then I placed them down to help catch my fall, but my hand folded probably in half under my butt. I couldn't hold anything, not even a piece of paper. I couldn't under my pants nothing for about a weekish.
Day 12.
Write about one of your biggest accomplishments in life.
I'd have to say, keeping and holding a job for over 5 years, being able to pay my bills and have my own place to live for over 5 years, and raising Ari all by myself.
Day 13
Would you rather be rich or healthy
Hmmm. I guess if I was rich I could pay a doctor to make me healthy.
Day 14
Do you have any birth marks, scars, piercings or tattoos.
I have a lot of scars, from bug bites, falling, dogs, cats.
Day 15
What was the last good deed you did for someone/ someone did for you.
Hmmm. I guess good deeds can range from different things. I guess babysitting for my sister?
The last good deed someone did for me? Dawn gave me a ride to work lol. My mom watches my daughter for me.
Day 16
What's one thing you haven't do that other people have.
I haven't driven myself to work. lol
Day 17
Post 7 random facts about yourself.
1.) I love dogs
2.) I'm a single mom
3.) I'd rather stay home and do things with my daughter then go to work
4.) I fear death
5.) I don't understand or believe we should have taxes
6. I love food
7. I don't ever see myself getting married
Day 18
Post a picture of the most embarrassing article of clothing you own.
I don't have a picture but I can describe it: A pair of jeans (that I just threw away today) that had holes on the inside thigh.
Day 19
Write about something or someone you really care about
Arianna. Before she was born, I was embarrased that I'd gotten pregnant, while not having a job or any type of stablility.
After she was born she was the most amazing thing to me.
I fear something happening to her. It look at her sometimes and just wonder how she is mine!
Day 20
Write about the best and worst day you've ever been on (Bonus points for both)
I've been on a couple of dates but nothing super special, I was nervous on the ones I did go on. The worst date I've had was with a neighbor. His sister came to the door and told me her brother liked me and wanted to ask me out. I wanted to say no, but had no reason to, so I said yes. We were going to go on a double date. Me, him (forgot his name lol) his sister and her husband. We went to see Alice in Wonderland (2009?). He was nice but after we got home, we stood in the parking lot and his sister (who was 8 months pregnant) said she couldn't wait to not be pregnant again so she could start smoking pot again and she wanted to get a medical marajuana card. And he was talking about smoking too. I didn't talk much to him after that.
Day 21
What are your thoughts on body image in the media.
I think that magazines and paparazi (spelling) needs to stop making people feel like they should look a certain way. That if you're not a certain size you're not good enough.
That woman who give birth should be back to their normal size very shortly after birth.
I also hate that show "what not to wear" is a bad show. It's telling people pretty much that you should really only wear fashionty type clothes and make you look rich, and not what you really enjoy wearing.
Day 22
What are your 3 biggest pet peeves
1). People who get a new pet, then shortly after (whether its a day or year later) they get rid of it because it's no longer cute, and small or something along those lines.
2).

How is everyone doing?
We're doing just fine! :D
Ari is 7, almost 8!
Elsie Mae is just about a year old.
The animals are doing good- Zoe is 4 (almost 5) Jack is just over a year - the kittens are 10 months (almost)
Kiara is almost 2, and Simba is almost 5! (tomorrow I think... I say I think because the family we got him from said he was born May 15- but when we got him on Sept. 24, he was tiny like a 6-8 week old baby)
I still work at Rite Aid. Didn't want to still be there. I have plans to try and open my own pet store.
Waiting for summer time to start! Wish I could have the summer off of work!

My Pet store
Name Ideas:

Zoe's Pet Supplies
Silver Creek Pet Supply
Why do I want to open a pet store?
I only recently realized it was a possibilty for me.
I know I've ALWAYS loved being in pet store. I love going to Petsmart and Petco. I love just about everything about being in a pet store. Looking at the different items for the different animals.
Most of all I love looking at the different animals. From the different types of fish to the hamsters and birds.
If its not a pet store and its just a grocery store, I like going down the pet aisle! Just to see what kinds of things are there.
I love buying things for my own animals, whether its their food, treats, or even another collar. I always think they need more collars.
I used to love going into the pet store in Lancaster mall. If we were going there, that was one place I had to stop in.
It was tiny but they had so much. One time I even asked to see one of the puppies they'd had there. It was my "boxer" phase. I wanted a boxer dog so bad, and they had 1 or 2 there. I got to hold the puppy and showed it to mom and Lindsey who looked slightly annoyed as I can remember.
What do I want to offer in my pet store?
The obvious stuff: Food (for cats, dogs, rodents, rabbits, etc...)
Toys for the different types of animals, treats, shampoos.
I know I don't want to carry Hartz products (or Sergeants) even though those are lower cost shampoos.
I want to be able to offer natural remedies to people. Healthy treats, food (I'd love to carry Blue Buffalo if I can and some other foods)
I want to offer a pet washing station for people to come in and wash and dry their pets.
I want people to be able to bring their pets in with them (friendly, healthy pets!)
I'd like to offer paintings by me, photography.
I want to have a back room with backgrounds for photography and props for people who want portraits of their pets.
Offer packages for different prices.
Another separate room for fish and reptiles. I'd like the room to be dark (except for the tank lights on)
painted dark.
I want to carry crickets so people don't have to go all the way to Salem.
The critters I'd like to possibly carry:
Mice- pets and food
Rats- pets and food
Guinea pigs
Rabbits
Ferrets (maybe)
Unwanted litters of kittens and puppies-- I can offer a flat fee to take them.
I'd like 3 kennels- 2 for unwanted adults dogs (house 2 adults dogs at a time from people who can't care for or no long want) 1 kennel for a litter of puppies.
I want to have a small area for kids to sit at and color pages (pages that I've printed of my pets turned into a color book tpye thing)
Free treats for visiting pets.
I want a 'break room' with a small tv and couch for Ari to be with me while I work. She can do her homework back there, watch movies. nap, snack. I want to be able to bring my dogs with me to work.
These are only some of my ideas and not complete in detail but I'll get back later!
